oprah winfrey, oprah winfrey show The Oprah Winfrey Show has Class

Oprah Winfrey has announced is not going to be interviewing Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on the Oprah Winfrey Show until after the election is over.

TMZ has quoted Oprah Winfrey saying  "At the beginning of this presidential campaign when I decided that I was going to take my first public stance in support of a candidate, I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates. "I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over," she adds. "There has been absolutely no discussion about having Sarah Palin on my show."

At this point the fact that she endorsed Barack Obama was a huge move on her part. Having Palin on the Oprah Winfrey Show would give him another big bump in the polls I'm sure, but Oprah has chosen to do the responsible thing and recognizes the unfair influence an appearance would make on the election outcome.

She is very aware that unfortunately people, particularly women, follow her blindly. Thumbs up today for Oprah Winfrey.
