oprah's angel network Oprah's Angel Network has many wonderful projects going on in the world, and one of them is rebuilding East Biloxi, Mississippi, after the Katrina damage. They partnered with two other agencies and have built parks, homes, and renovated homes that were damaged in that powerful and tragic storm. Other projects that Oprah's Angel Network has competed are in countries around the world where schools for children were built and supplied so that the children could receive educations that will help end the cycle of poverty in their futures.

Oprah's Angel Network is taking donations for victims of Hurricane Katrina through September 3, 2008, so if you have the means to make a donation, it will be put to good use. Because she has such a huge organization, 100% of your donations go directly to the victims, so this is a great organization for you to donate funds. Oprah has also established a new program, called O Ambassadors, that organizes schools and groups in the US to contribute to others less fortunate. The link below is to a site and on it, you will find a poem written by a fourth grader that is quite eloquent and moving.
