With all the scandal that Oprah Winfrey's Leadership Academy for Girls has gone through, the Oprah school has successfully triumphed over the unfortunate scandal by picking itself up and starting anew with responsible staff and Oprah Winfrey to lead the way. Oprah's school was a symbol of Oprah's need to touch the lives of women in Africa who may not have had the future or the education needed to survive in a destitute world.

Unfortunately, the school suffered because of a sex abuse scandal involving one of the matrons. There was nobody else that publicly revealed their guilt other than Oprah. And it was also Oprah Winfrey who had experienced child abuse herself, according to the Oprah biography.

Oprah Winfrey has lead a full and successful life. With media successes, such as the Oprah Winfrey Show, the Oprah Book Club, Oprah Magazine, etc. Oprah has become one of the most influential people in the world.

Because of Oprah's successes, many people have someone to look up to. Oprah Winfrey is truly a role model who has been involved in many mistakes, but has persevered. We can only hope that Oprah's school will continue into blazing success, despite it's solemn beginning.
