The Oprah Winfrey show first came to us back in September of 1986, and has been the longest running daytime television talk show in America. The Oprah Winfrey Show has captivated audiences of all ages. Oprah speaks to the rich, the poor, the proud and the timid! The Oprah Winfrey Show keeps you informed of things that are going on the in the world, and I believe that Oprah Winfrey has touched more people's lives than any one person, at least in our generation!
The Oprah Winfrey Show has certainly been one of my favorite daytime talk shows! Oprah has made me laugh and made me cry. I've found myself relating to her weight loss struggles throughout the years. Pictures of Oprah have been blasted all over the media, not in a good way, most of the time it was to show how much weight she'd put on and they would mock her. That was totally uncalled for and very cruel!
Oprah's Angel Network is just on of the many organizations that Oprah has shared her time and wealth with and who could forget the Oprah Winfrey's leadership academy for girls! Oprah has also donated so much money to the Katrina victims and to children who are in far off lands.
The Oprah Winfrey Show is the only show on television that I am truly going to miss when it goes off the air in the year 2011. Yes, Oprah has said that she is not going to renew her contract after 2011, so we will being watching the last Oprah Winfrey show in the year 2011. I am so sad to hear that news! I wish she would reconsider and extend her contract. I would watch Oprah Winfrey even if she were old and gray! Oprah Winfrey has changed my life and she is my hero!
