Talk show diva, Oprah Winfrey, heads the earth's most powerful celebrities with earnings of over three hundred million, according to Forbes' magazine.
The list is taken from income over the past twelve months as well as a compendium of other sources, says Forbes.
"Only a combination of earnings and sizzle will land a celebrity a coveted spot on our Celebrity 100," they say.
Winfrey, fifty-three, who after a poor childhood skyrocketed to fame as host of a hugely popular American TV talk show, reportedly has a net worth of at least one and a half billion from her production company, her Oprah magazine and her Oprah show.
Recently, Oprah has opened a fifty million dollar school in Leadership Academy for girls in South Africa and was recently cited as the "most generous" celebrity philanthropist.
