Havwrite oprahe you ever thought you could write Oprah an email about a television broadcast or an issue you have with in your life that you think she might be able to help you with? Her web site does not make it especially easy to contact her directly, but there are lots of places where you can post comments about shows, volunteer to be a participant on a topical show, and join the Oprah forum.

I am sure when you write Oprah, that her legions of staff members sift through all the emails, and cull them out for content and quality. I myself have never tried to write Oprah, but I have posted a few comments about her more controversial shows, the latest of which was the one about her leadership academy for girls. It would be nice if Oprah could start such an academy here and bring bright, underprivileged girls into an educational environment where they could receive the huge advantage that a strong education brings. Maybe more of us should write Oprah about setting up some kind of trust that would help America's disadvantage children too.
